❝What is a zine?❞
A zine is a independently published collection of works; art, writing and many others, created by fans, usually centered around a theme, character, pairing or fandom. It can be digital, physical, and even come with fanmade merch.❝Will there be a Physical release?❞
While I would love to do it, I lack the knowledge and expertise required to produce and ship internationally. A physical release it will depend entirely on If we recuit someone with the necessary expertise, as well as the demand from the public.❝Will there be a Music Album released?❞
Yes! Music artists are welcome to apply to join the Album side of the project.❝Is NSFW allowed?❞
NSFW is not allowed, please keep your submission SFW.
❝How will contributors be compensated?❞
Proceeds made from the Zine, Album and merch will be distributed amongst contributors. The amount, of course, will depend on how commercially successful said items are.❝What are Guest Contributors?❞
Contributors that have been invited to the project directly by the Moderators, meaning they skipped the application process normal contributors have to go through.❝Do I have to include both DEX and DAINA in my submission?❞
It is preferred, as both of them celebrate their anniversary.❝Can I include other vocal synth characters in my submission?❞
Yes, but only if they are a minor inclusion (cameos, background vocals). DEX and DAINA should be the main focus!

Harassment and hate speech is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban from the project.
GenAI is strictly prohibited. This includes using images or text generated by ChatGPT, Chatbots, and other generative AI tools.
You must create a new piece with original composition for this project.
Your pieces should stay secret the whole production of the zine. Please do not post WIPs in public unless you were given explicit permission!
Repeated failure to check in on time, and so without any prior communication, will result in your removal from the project.
Page & Spread Artists
Artists of any skill level and following are welcome. No previous zine involvement is required. You will create either one fully rendered page complete with a background, or a two page full rendered spread.
REQUIREMENTS
Three samples of what you consider your best work: ideally, this will be fully coloured pieces, akin to what you will create for the zine.
A link to your portfolio with at least three completed pieces in it.
At least one piece must feature VOCALOID characters, ideally DEX and/or DAINA.
Comic Artists
Artists of any skill level and following are welcome. No previous zine involvement is required. You will create 1-2 page (not pannels), fully coloured and rendered comic
REQUIREMENTS
Three samples of what you consider your best work: ideally, this will be fully coloured short comics, akin to what you will create for the zine.
A link to your portfolio with at least three completed pieces in it.
Samples featuring VOCALOID characters are preferred, but not required for application.
Merch Artists
Artists of any skill level and following are welcome. No previous zine involvement is required. You will create two pieces of merch, with the option to work on a third one. Samples of produced merch are appreciated, but not required.
REQUIREMENTS
Three samples of what you consider your best work, this must be in the same artstyle and format you will use for the zine (show keychain designs if you're applying to do keychains, etc.)
A link to your portfolio with at least three completed pieces in it.
At least one sample must feature VOCALOID vocals, ideally DEX and/or DAINA.
Album Artists
Artists must have an understanding of music production and composition (experience with any DAW, VOCALOID, know how to mix, etc). You will create a song at least 2:00, with DEX and/or DAINA as the main vocals.
REQUIREMENTS
Three samples of what you consider your best work, akin to what you will create for the zine.
A link to your portfolio with at least three completed pieces in it.

Hello! I'm the creator and Head Mod for this project. I've been into VOCALOID for ~15 years, and decided to try and organize a zine around my favourite VOCALOID, that is to say, this is my passion project.
